A final photo report of our humanitarian mission in Donetsk and Luhansk regions organized by MP Sviatoslav Yurash.
We are extremely grateful to the Ukrainian and foreign volunteers who made it possible despite close shelling by the Russian artillery and other adventures in a de facto combat zone.
It was especially hot in Bakhmut, where we have witnessed Grad sparkles over the city and bombardment of several houses resulting in the death of the civilians, and the closest to the enemy line city in Luhansk region. Observing the “traditional” daily shelling at certain hours, as the Ukrainian military say, we have managed to bring useful medical supplies to the military hospital in Lysychansk, sent by the Polish allies in particular.
Last but not least, our aid was much appreciated in the village which is divided by the combat line in half. The one next to it has been already cut off by the mortar shelling. Yet, the administrative borders of Donetsk and Luhansk region claimed by the enemy in the beginning of invasion are under the Ukrainian control.

A special thanks to our French friend aka (Le) Frog 🐸🇫🇷 for impaccable driving in Donetsk and Luhansk regions under a series of complicated circumstances: long trips; an absence of the normal road; at the same time, the need to quickly follow the lead car in an unknown dangerous area and without knowledge of the language, move around pits and defense obstacles, also in the night without the light; last but not least, endure close shelling and some of our local weirdos. Urgence Humanitaire must be proud of such a volunteer! 👏
